We are looking for an experienced and strategic Head of Compliance to lead and manage our compliance operations across international markets. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of regulatory requirements within the financial sector, coupled with the ability to implement and maintain robust compliance programs.

Main Responsibilities * Keep the group of companies compliant with regulatory requirements in the markets where it operates, with a particular focus on AML/CTF requirements in the fintech dimension * Make sure that compliance-related matters are in line with the strategic financial plans of the company * Oversee and contribute to AML/CTF and Compliance risk assessments, establish Compliance risk appetite * Develop and implement the Compliance monitoring plan * Ensure regular internal reporting on key elements of the Compliance risk appetite and results of the Compliance monitoring plan * Implement a Compliance training plan * Lead from the company side and successfully complete all regulators inspections and audits * Supervise and lead companies’ officials communication with regulators * Hire and lead local compliance managers, set tasks for them and ensure their effective work * Hire and manage external service providers/advisers when required to support opinion * Ensure that all existing customer complaints, inquiries of 3rd parties, and requests of regulators are processed and resolved in a timely manner * Create processes, procedures, and related documents to efficiently organize compliance function across group * Advise on all business matters that may affect compliance processes
Expected Results * Successful completion for all group regulators inspections and audit missions * All regulatory commitments are implemented timely, in full, and under continuous control * Procedures, policies and other internal and public documents fully meet the requirements of regulators including, but not limited to, AML/KYC, data protection, privacy policies, credit decision making, etc.
Professional Qualifications * BA or MA in law, economics, accounting or computer science from a reputable university * 5+ years of a senior position in compliance in the finance sector * Proven track record of successfully passing regulators inspections and audits * Experience of working with external professional advisors (legal, regulatory, etc) on Compliance related matters * Ability to communicate in a structured way and create efficient and actionable operational documents * Deep understanding of business processes and profit drivers * A positive attitude and motivation to achieve targets and grow, both personally and as a part of a team * Superior communication and negotiation skills * Fluent English is a must
Additional * Experience in the Fintech industry will be a strong advantage * Previous experience with a reputable international professional service company (like Big4) or big multinational businesses (500+ people) will be a strong advantage * Eligible for Business Trips in Europe
