We’re looking for a creative and driven SMM Specialist to join our brand marketing team and take the lead on the social presence for Setapp. In this role, you will be the driving force behind our social media strategy and execution. You will be a self-sufficient and core member of the team, responsible for growing our brand presence and engaging with our audience.
Setapp is MacPaw’s subscription-based app service for macOS and iOS.
It provides access to 260+ quality apps that cover categories such as productivity, lifestyle, web development, Mac maintenance, creativity, writing, education, and personal finance.
Setapp’s mission is to give Apple users easy access to stellar apps, so they can focus on doing the job, not looking for the tools.
In this role, you will:
* Develop and execute social media marketing campaigns across multiple platforms (X, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube) aligned with our existing strategy
* Develop and implement a content plan, overseeing the creation and distribution of content across social media platforms
* Track and analyze the performance of social media campaigns to measure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement
* Regularly monitor market, competitor, and target audience trends to identify new opportunities for engagement and expand our online reach
* Collaborate with the team in developing and refining marketing strategies and setting goals
* Collaborate closely with designers, copywriters, and other colleagues, including freelancers. Provide detailed briefs and ensure timely task completion
* Actively engage with our community on social media platforms
Skills you’ll need to bring:
* At least 2 years of SMM experience in software development companies (or background in digital agencies or with other digital products)
* In-depth knowledge of social media platforms X (Twitter), Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and their tools
* Strong skills in content planning, creation, and distribution
* Good understanding of social media analytics and how to influence results
* Awareness of online trends and culture, especially English-language and US-focused
* Passion for technology and a commitment to staying up-to-date with emerging trends
* Familiarity with Figma
* Advanced level of English (conversational, as you’ll work in an international team and engage with our international social media audience)
* Fluent Ukrainian
* Comfortable working in a dynamic environment and owning your tasks
As a plus:
* Copywriting skills
* Familiarity with Reddit and Discord
* Basic knowledge of social media targeted advertising (brand awareness, traffic, engagement)
