Brief intro to the role:
We are looking for a senior full-stack engineer with solid hands-on experience working and experimenting with the practical application of Artificial Intelligence, natural language interfaces, agentic AI and ML to drive and lead our innovation incubator function at TransferRoom.com. This role requires 90% hands-on implementation, with 10% of the role requiring stakeholder management and requirements analysis.
You’ll be involved in the end-to-end delivery of systems and proof of concept implementations. Exploring, understanding and processing data — structured and unstructured, experimenting with ML and AI, understanding model outputs and evaluating performance against defined objectives, and communicating these results to the rest of the team.
What you’ll be doing: * Rapidly develop, deploy, and present AI/ML proof of concepts * Work with structured and unstructured data to build and evaluate models * Experiment with a broad tech stack including LLMs, NLP, prompt engineering, APIs, web and mobile * Collaborate with founders and CTO to prioritise impactful features and data improvements * Communicate progress and challenges clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Who you are: * 3+ years experience delivering production software with an emphasis on AI, data processing or MLOps * Skilled with version control tools like Git and Azure DevOps * Experience building data transformations on relational or non-relational platforms * Comfortable working with cloud infrastructure, preferably Azure * Able to troubleshoot data workflows and optimise system performance * Experience delivering client-facing software (Preferred)
Nice to have: * Familiarity with C#, Python, React, TypeScript * Experience with AI tools like ChatGPT, Azure AI, or similar * Knowledge of data platforms like SQL Server, Power BI, BigQuery * Passion for rapid experimentation and innovation
