Ciklum is looking for a Expert JavaScript Engineer to join our team full-time in Ukraine.

About the role: As an Expert JavaScript Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. Together, we will work on the project creating a test management data tool. This solution will enable easier testing of payments and provide a user-friendly experience. The Client reimagines energy to bring net-zero within everyone’s reach. The Client Platform enables energy utilities to unlock the full value of a radically changing energy system and propel us to a future where renewable energy is sustainable, affordable and accessible for all. From automating and simplifying core operations including billing to create a lower-cost, higher-engagement experience, to optimising energy usage across smart devices in the home, we turn tough challenges into win-win-win outcomes for customers, suppliers and the energy system.
Responsibilities: * Design and implement complex web applications using the established approaches and best practices * Improve existing engineering and quality standards in a team and help other team members adopt them * Create CI/CD pipeline by template and/or assist DevOps team in creating more complex pipelines * Participate in the hiring process and technical interview activities * Coach/supervise middle/junior engineers by demand of the project

We would still love to hear from you if you think you’re a good fit! * Software Design: * Experience in designing solutions for complex features and creating documentation: * Uses the established standards and algorithms for implementing the application: * Software development: * Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript * Practical use of advanced features in React * Experience in refactoring existing applications according to new requirements * Quality Assurance: * Hands-on experience with testing approaches and tools * Ability to adjust and maintain the code quality rules and metrics * Software Deployment: * Experience in configuring CI/CD pipelines (TravisCi, GitLabCI, etc) * Collaborates with the DevOps team to set up the custom CI/CD pipeline
