Ciklum is looking for a Senior Automation QA (Java) Engineer to join our team full-time in Ukraine.

About the role:
As a Senior Automation QA (Java) Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team working for the global leader in leisure, travel, and tourism industries that offers a high-quality end-to-end customer experience, from booking to accommodation and transportation. As a Quality Engineer, you will be part of a cross-functional team or a practice team that enables quality engineering skills and capabilities across a whole domain. Being an enthusiast in creating flawlessly working software solutions for our customers, with a strong DevSecOps mindset, and thanks to your excellent collaboration skills you will work with your team in delivering the best answers to our customers’ needs and in taking over full responsibility for its applications, from design to operation. You care diligently about the quality of your work, including proper documentation and security aspects.
Responsibilities: * Test automation for new functionality, regression suites, and other functional tests on a Web backend project * Maintaining and adding new functionality to automated testing framework * Integrating automated testing into CI process * Test data preparation * Making conclusions and reporting about stability of the product under test * Close collaboration with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and developers
Requirements: * Experience in REST API testing * Experience in QA automation of Java REST servers using Rest Assured and supportive frameworks * Solid skills in Java and OOP * Good knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL or similar) * Experience with continuous integration processes and tools (GitLab, Jenkins, TeamCity or similar) * Experience working with version control systems (e.g. Git, SVN and others) * Good knowledge of different testing methods, techniques and types * Understanding of Agile and Scrum * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or relevant field * Good English skills — Upper-Intermediate and above
