We are looking for a motivated Junior QA Engineer to join our Agile product development team. You will work closely with Front-End Developers, Back-End Developers, Product Owners, Delivery Managers, and fellow QA Engineers to ensure the quality and reliability of our products.
The role combines both manual and automation testing, with a strong focus on growing your automation skills using Playwright and TypeScript. You will also have the opportunity to gain experience with API testing, CI/CD workflows, and performance testing in a modern microservice-oriented environment. Job requirementsMust have * At least 1 year of commercial experience as a QA Engineer or in a software testing role * Basic programming skills and a willingness to grow in test automation * Basic understanding of QA methodologies, processes, and testing artifacts * Familiarity with web application testing * Basic understanding of API testing concepts * Basic understanding of Scrum and Agile workflows * Good analytical and problem-solving skills * Upper-Intermediate English
Nice to have * Experience with TypeScript and/or JavaScript * Familiarity with Playwright or other automation frameworks such as Cypress, Selenium, or Cucumber * Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI * Familiarity with SQL and/or NoSQL databases * Familiarity with Git and version control workflows * Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools * Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter, k6, or similar * Understanding of microservice architecture concepts * Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud environments is considered a plus
Responsibilities * Collaborate with developers, Product Owners, Delivery Managers, and QA Engineers during the full development lifecycle * Participate actively in all Scrum ceremonies * Review requirements and contribute to test planning, test coverage, and risk analysis * Create, maintain, and execute test cases and test scenarios * Identify, document, and track defects in test and production environments * Develop and maintain automated tests using Playwright and TypeScript * Support API testing activities using tools such as Postman or similar * Assist with regression, smoke, exploratory, and end-to-end testing * Help improve QA processes, testing standards, and automation practices * Contribute to CI/CD quality processes and test execution pipelines * Participate in performance testing activities and support performance-related investigations * Collaborate with the team to continuously improve product quality and delivery efficiency
