We are looking for a Cloud (GCP) Technical Specialist to own the technical side of our Google Cloud environment — managing accounts, access, and billing hygiene, supporting clients and internal teams on GCP matters, and keeping our cloud setup clean, secure, and well-documented. This is a hands-on, client-facing role for someone who understands GCP deeply but sits closer to operations and enablement than to engineering or DevOps.
Requirements: * Solid understanding of GCP fundamentals: organizations, folders, projects, billing accounts * Hands-on experience with GCP IAM — users, service accounts, groups, roles, least privilege * Comfortable with GCP Console, Cloud Shell, and basic gcloud CLI * Working knowledge of core GCP services: Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, VPC, Cloud DNS, Logging/Monitoring * Understanding of GCP billing: reports, budgets, alerts, cost breakdowns, spotting waste * Solid cloud security hygiene: MFA, key rotation, audit logs, org policies * Experience in client-facing, pre-sales, or post-sales technical roles * Strong written and verbal communication for both technical and non-technical audiences * English: Upper-Intermediate+
Key Responsibilities: * Own day-to-day GCP account and access management across client and internal environments * Serve as the first point of contact for internal users and clients on GCP questions * Keep the GCP environment clean: project structure, naming conventions, labels, and permissions * Monitor billing regularly, report on costs, and surface optimization opportunities proactively * Build and maintain relationships with Google reps, partners, and the cloud community * Coordinate with engineering and DevOps when deeper technical work is needed * Stay current on GCP updates and communicate what matters to the team * Partner with sales on client onboardings, discovery calls, and technical follow-ups if needed
