We’re looking for an Email Marketing Manager to own and scale our email channel across multiple international B2C markets. You’ll be responsible for lifecycle automation, segmentation, deliverability, experimentation, and performance analysis, helping us improve customer activation, retention, and revenue.
This is a hands-on role for someone who loves working with data, building automated customer journeys, testing new ideas, and taking ownership from strategy to execution.
This role is ideal for someone who wants to: * Own and continuously improve the email marketing channel across multiple international markets * Build, optimize, and scale lifecycle campaigns including welcome, activation, retention, reactivation, and nurture flows * Create and manage newsletters, promotional campaigns, product updates, and one-off communications * Design and maintain automated customer journeys and trigger-based campaigns * Develop audience segmentation strategies based on customer behavior, events, and attributes * Monitor and improve key email marketing metrics, including Open Rate, CTR, Conversion Rate, Retention, Churn, and Revenue Contribution * Design, execute, and analyze A/B tests to improve campaign performance * Work closely with developers on event tracking, integrations, and automation improvements * Partner with analytics and content teams to drive data-informed decisions * Ensure excellent deliverability and maintain healthy sender reputation across domains * Explore and implement AI-powered solutions to improve efficiency, personalization, and campaign performance
Your Impact Areas * Own the full email marketing lifecycle across multiple B2C markets * Audit and optimize existing email infrastructure, deliverability, segmentation, and automation flows * Build and launch lifecycle campaigns including onboarding, activation, retention, re-engagement, and churn prevention journeys * Create and execute newsletters, promotional campaigns, and transactional communications * Develop advanced audience segmentation using customer behavior, events, and attributes * Monitor key email metrics including Open Rate, CTR, Conversion Rate, Retention, Churn, LTV, and Revenue Contribution * Design and run A/B tests to continuously improve campaign performance * Work closely with developers on event tracking, integrations, and data quality * Partner with analysts to turn customer data into actionable insights * Leverage AI tools to improve efficiency, personalization, and campaign performance * Ensure excellent deliverability and maintain healthy sender reputation across domains
Your Superpower Stack * 2+ years of experience in Email Marketing, Lifecycle Marketing, or CRM Marketing within a B2C product company * Experience building lifecycle campaigns and automated customer journeys * Strong understanding of customer segmentation, personalization, and retention marketing * Hands-on experience with SendPulse, Customer.io, HubSpot, or similar platforms * Strong analytical mindset and experience working with email performance metrics * Experience running and analyzing A/B tests * Understanding of email deliverability, sender reputation, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC * Understanding of GDPR and email marketing compliance requirements * Experience working cross-functionally with product, analytics, content, and engineering teams * Comfortable using AI tools in day-to-day work * Upper-Intermediate English or higher
Recruitment process for this position: * Introductory call (30 minutes). A get-to-know-each-other call to align on expectations and culture fit. * Test assignment. If we’re aligned, we’ll send you a practical task to evaluate your approach and thinking. * Deep-dive interview (1 hour). A conversation with our CMO and Head of Content to discuss your test assignment, past experience, and future potential. * Final interview.
