AI-driven retail optimization platform trusted by leading grocery, pharmacy, and convenience chains worldwide is looking for a Head of Communication/Communications Manager — a creative storyteller and strategist who will help the company strengthen its global brand presence through media, influencer, and thought-leadership projects.
Your key mission will be to bring to life a high-impact global communication campaign around the release of Retail Techonomics
Key responsibilities
1. Book launch project — Retail Techonomics • Develop and execute a full-scale global communications strategy for the book release. • Identify and invite co-authors and contributors among well-known retail influencers, analysts, and thought leaders. • Coordinate content creation, editing, and design together with the publishing and marketing teams. • Create a digital PR campaign: interviews, press releases, video teasers, and partnership placements.
2. Brand communication & media relations • Build and maintain relationships with international retail and technology media (both trade and mainstream). • Prepare press kits, articles, and interviews highlighting Leafio’s innovations and leadership in AI-driven retail automation. • Manage media mentions, track KPIs, and ensure consistent brand tone across all communications.
3. Influencer & podcast projects • Design and launch a podcast series featuring leading retail professionals, investors, and innovators in the US market. • Select hosts, guests, and partners; oversee recording, publishing, and promotion on Spotify, YouTube, and LinkedIn. • Develop influencer collaboration formats (joint webinars, guest columns, event panels) to raise brand awareness.
Requirements • 4+ years of experience in PR, communications, or media partnerships (preferably in tech, SaaS, or retail sectors). • Proven track record in event PR, book or product launches, and influencer marketing. • Excellent writing and communication skills in English (native or near-native). • Strong understanding of global media landscape (especially the US and European retail ecosystems). • Creativity, independence, and the ability to manage multiple high-visibility projects simultaneously. • Readiness to travel to key events (e.g., Dusseldorf, NRF New York, Shoptalk Vegas).
