Role Overview
The Business Transformation Consultant partners with clients to assess business challenges, optimize processes, and deliver transformation initiatives that drive operational efficiency and sustainable growth. This role owns the full cycle — from discovery and diagnosis through to roadmap, business case, and delivery — including applying AI/ML where it creates real business value.

Role Responsibilities * Build INSART’s repeatable discovery methodology and the artifacts that go with it: diagnostic templates, prioritization model, roadmap and business-case formats. * Run deep discovery directly with the first clients. Structured sessions across leadership, operations, and front-line staff. * Map current-state processes, systems, data flows, hand-offs, and manual work, and quantify the baseline. * Produce the operational diagnostic: what’s broken, what it costs, and why it persists. * Build the transformation roadmap and the business case. Investment, ROI, payback, and risk. * Hand off discovery results cleanly to the Engineering function. Translate the roadmap into a build brief and walk architects through the “why,” then protect the value case through delivery. * Define the service offering and sales narrative with the Sales stakeholders, and prove the model on the first one or two engagements so the practice can scale.
Role Requirements * 6+ years in management consulting, operations, or business transformation, including several years at engagement-lead, principal, or partner level — or equivalent in-house transformation leadership at scale. * Personally led at least 5–8 end-to-end transformation engagements where the diagnosis converted into delivered software/AI solutions or significant business process optimizations — not strategy decks that were handed off and never built. * Can evidence specific, attributable outcomes across multiple clients (e.g. measurable cost reduction, cycle-time eliminated, revenue enabled) and explain the method that produced them. * Has owned the senior client relationship. Presenting diagnostics, roadmaps, and business cases directly to CEOs, founders, or boards, and defending them under challenge. * Has personally built a methodology, service offering, practice, or function from zero — able to name it and what it produced * Recent, referenceable experience applying AI/ML in a real business context, with demonstrated judgment to reject AI when it is the wrong answer * Strong communication skills: English C1+
