Bulls Media is looking to hire a strong BI developer and data analyst.
The role involves both data analytic and technical skills : gathering data , developing tools and dashboards, evaluating data and sharing findings that affect business decisions.
Responsibilities: * Working with different company departments and setting business requirements for BI tools * Translating business requirements into technical ones * Suggesting technical options to meet the requirements and creating an BI architecture. Providing time estimation * Leading and executing BI software development, deployment, and maintenance: * Creating Power BI reports based on client requirements * Taking data from different data sources : databases, internal and external API, google sheets and more * Developing different visualization levels and dashboards * Maintaining and optimizing existing reports * Ensuring data correctness * Testing reports of other BI developers * Creating technical documentation for BI tools * Evaluating data, collating findings relevant to the business, and sharing them in a manner that can bring about an effective change in a business: * Breaking down key business data: gather, clean, and analyze data * Interpreting the data: Find patterns or see areas in the data that signal a potential for improvement in business practices * Sharing findings:visualizing data in graphs and charts, recommendations to improve or grow the business based on their findings.
Required Skills/Abilities: * At least 2 year experience in a BI developer & data Analyst role * Experience with PowerBI including a good knowledge of DAX * Deep knowledge of SQL Databases and SQL script optimisation * Good knowledge of excel / Google sheet (formulas) * Basic knowledge of Python * Non relational database — advantage * Advanced analysis and problem solving skills * Attention to detail * The ability to work both as a team player and independently * Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment * Self learning abilities
