Who we are:
We are a product game development company and work over 12 years on creating games about animals in the role play genre. At Turbo Rocket Games we aspire to make great games that bring people together while discovering and admiring nature. We work in small teams to build successful products, such as WildCraft — one of the world’s most successful mobile animal simulators with 150M+ downloads.There are many opportunities for you to have a significant impact on the products we’ll be making as well as the overall direction of the company.
We are looking for an experienced Roblox Developer with a strong understanding of the Roblox platform, its development ecosystem, player expectations, technical limitations, and successful game design patterns.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience building and releasing Roblox experiences, understands what works well on the platform, and can independently develop reliable gameplay systems, user interfaces, monetization features, and live game functionality.
Responsibilities
* Develop, maintain, and improve gameplay systems using Roblox Studio and Luau.
* Build responsive user interfaces that work correctly across mobile devices, tablets, PC, and supported console platforms.
* Implement player progression, rewards, inventories, currencies, quests, shops, and other game systems.
* Integrate Roblox monetization features, including Developer Products, Game Passes, subscriptions, and other platform-supported purchase flows.
* Support live operations, updates, events, content releases, and bug fixes.
* Work closely with game designers, artists, UI/UX designers, and other developers.
* Review technical requirements, estimate implementation complexity, and propose practical solutions.
* Identify platform limitations and recommend approaches that fit Roblox best practices.
* Maintain clear technical documentation and organized project structure.
* Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and release preparation.
Requirements
* Strong professional experience developing games or interactive experiences on Roblox.
* A portfolio of published Roblox experiences or substantial production work that can be demonstrated.
* Strong knowledge of Roblox Studio and Luau.
* Good understanding of Roblox services, APIs, platform systems, and development workflows.
* Ability to write clean, modular, reusable, and maintainable code.
* Ability to investigate technical problems independently and propose solutions.
* Understanding of the complete Roblox publishing and update process.
* Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
* English proficiency sufficient for technical communication and documentation.
Nice to Have
* Experience working on live Roblox experiences.
* Experience with games that have meaningful player concurrency, retention, or revenue.
* Experience building multiplayer, social, progression, collection, simulator, RPG, or live-service systems.
* Experience with Roblox analytics, funnels, retention metrics, and monetization analysis.
* Experience with automated testing, version control, CI/CD, or structured release workflows.
