AcidSoft is looking for an experienced Apple Search Ads (ASA) & ASO Specialist to join our team and work with an international client on the launch and growth of a new iOS application.
We are looking for someone who combines strong Apple Search Ads expertise, ASO knowledge, mobile app acquisition experience, and a solid understanding of attribution and analytics. What you will do1. Pre-launch strategy * Understand the app, target audience, monetization model, and acquisition goals * Review the App Store positioning and identify potential issues affecting paid acquisition * Develop the initial Apple Search Ads strategy * Define campaign structure, targeting, budgets, and bidding approach * Identify everything that needs to be prepared before launch
2. Apple Search Ads setup Build and configure the ASA account and campaign structure from scratch, including: * Brand campaigns * Generic / non-brand campaigns * Competitor campaigns * Discovery campaigns * Exact and broad match keywords * Negative keywords * Geographic targeting * Budgets and bids * Campaign and ad group organization
The goal is to build a clean, scalable campaign structure, rather than putting all keywords into a single campaign. 3. Keyword research & ASO * Conduct comprehensive keyword research * Identify high-intent and commercially relevant keywords * Analyze search volume, competition, and relevance * Build and maintain keyword lists * Develop a negative keyword strategy * Identify new keyword opportunities based on campaign performance * Work with the team on App Store positioning and ASO improvements
4. Tracking & attribution This is a key part of the role.
You should understand mobile app attribution and post-install measurement, not just impressions, taps, and installs.
You will be expected to: * Configure and validate Apple Search Ads attribution * Work with mobile measurement / analytics platforms such as AppsFlyer, Adjust, Singular, or similar * Define the events that should be tracked after installation * Analyze user quality and post-install behavior * Measure CAC / CPA where applicable * Analyze ROAS / LTV where applicable * Identify and troubleshoot attribution discrepancies * Coordinate with developers and the product team when technical implementation is required
5. Launch & optimization After launch, you will actively manage and optimize campaigns: * Optimize bids and budgets * Analyze search terms and keyword performance * Harvest new keywords * Expand negative keyword lists * Scale winning keywords * Pause inefficient keywords * Test new keyword groups * Identify wasted spend * Improve CPI, CAC, and conversion rate * Restructure campaigns when necessary * Scale acquisition while maintaining efficiency
6. Reporting & analytics We need actionable insights, not just dashboards and numbers.
What happened → Why it happened → What you changed → What happened afterward → What you recommend next Requirements * Proven hands-on experience with Apple Search Ads * Experience launching and scaling iOS apps from scratch * Strong understanding of ASO and App Store search * Strong keyword research skills * Experience with mobile app attribution and analytics * Understanding of post-install events and user quality analysis * Experience optimizing paid app acquisition campaigns * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Ability to work independently and take ownership of results * Ability to communicate clearly with developers and product teams * English — Intermediate or higher
It will be a plus * Experience with subscription-based mobile apps * Experience with ROAS / LTV optimization * Experience scaling apps from initial testing to significant acquisition budgets * Knowledge of SKAdNetwork and Apple’s attribution ecosystem * Experience working with international markets * Experience combining paid acquisition with ASO strategy
