YouControl is an analytical system that from more than 220 sources forms a complete profile for each company and individual entrepreneur of Ukraine on the basis of open data, tracks changes in state registers and visualises links between affiliated persons. It contains data for checking foreign companies. The system allows businesses to check counterparties, as well as to look for new potential customers and partners.
We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our energetic and proactive team.
Responsibilities and Contributions: * Participate in the development and implementation of a new approach to infrastructure. Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools will serve as the main mechanism for managing the platform. * Ensure high availability of applications and configure redundancy of platform components for company products. * Contribute to the design of a platform for high-load backend and frontend applications in both on-premise and cloud environments.
Set up and maintain product monitoring systems. Respond proactively to incidents to ensure a high level of SLA for B2B clients.
Key Required Skills: * 5+ years of hands-on experience working closely with product development teams. * 5+ years of experience with both on-premise solutions and cloud providers. * Experience in configuring, maintaining, and supporting the reliability and uptime of infrastructure components (databases, virtualization clusters, common infrastructure). * Proficiency with IaC tools (Terraform / Ansible). * Experience working with Proxmox / OpenNebula as core virtualization controllers. * Solid knowledge of Unix systems at the system administrator level. Strong understanding of the OSI model. * Understanding of virtualization/containerization principles and environments (KVM, LXC, Docker). * Experience operating Kubernetes (K8s) in production environments under real workloads. * Proficiency with monitoring systems (Zabbix / Prometheus). * Good hands-on experience with any of the big cloud providers * Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitLab / Jenkins / etc.), both in infrastructure (Atlantis / Flux) and for setting up continuous delivery of software.
Nice to Have: * Knowledge of dynamic routing protocols (BGP, OSPF). * Experience in building hybrid infrastructure environments. * Experience developing custom modules for Terraform / Ansible to address specialized needs.
