This is a fully remote position, but candidates must be available to work New York time (10:00 AM — 7:00 PM EST).
Key Responsibilities: * SEO Strategy Development: * Create detailed daily and long-term SEO strategies aligned with company goals. * Conduct thorough keyword research, competitive analysis, and SERP trend assessments. * On-Page Optimization: * Provide actionable recommendations for improving content, metadata, and internal linking. * Collaborate with copywriters to optimize blog posts, landing pages, and web content. * Technical SEO: * Work closely with developers to resolve site structure issues, improve site speed, and ensure mobile optimization. * Implement schema markup, canonical tags, and hreflang tags as needed. * Content Recommendations: * Guide content teams to create high-quality, SEO-friendly articles, case studies, and tutorials. * Suggest blog topics and evergreen content opportunities to enhance traffic and engagement. * Analytics and Reporting: * Monitor and report on key SEO metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEMrush. * Use insights to refine strategies and demonstrate ROI. * Link-Building and Outreach: * Identify and pursue white-hat link-building opportunities. * Develop partnerships and guest posting strategies to enhance domain authority.
Skills and Qualifications: * Proven experience as an SEO Specialist, with a strong track record of driving organic growth. * In-depth knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO best practices. * Expertise in tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. * Familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress, Shopify, or others.
Bonus Skills: * Knowledge of multilingual SEO and experience with translation/localization businesses. * Basic HTML, CSS, or JavaScript knowledge for implementing small fixes.
