We’re looking for an AdOps Specialist to join our team and help manage and optimize advertising operations across a high-load technology podcast network that reaches millions of listeners every day. You’ll work with a complex ecosystem that includes an ad server handling millions of requests per hour, AWS Lambda functions, and AI-powered automation flows that support ad delivery, monetization, content generation, and operational monitoring. As part of the team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth campaign execution, maximizing ad performance, and supporting the growth of our podcast monetization platform.
Job Responsibilities: * Manage and monitor day-to-day operational activity. * Track platform performance on a daily basis and identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement. * Analyze operational, performance, and revenue data on a daily and weekly basis. * Create reports and insights that support business and operational decision-making. * Operate and manage the podcaster and publisher platform, including workflows involving AI tools. * Monitor hosting activity and identify technical or operational issues in real time. * Troubleshoot operational problems and coordinate solutions with the relevant internal teams. * Track monthly revenues and prepare ongoing revenue and performance reports. * Maintain strong control and visibility over the company’s operational database. * Manage the onboarding process for podcasters and publishers from signup through approval, plan assignment, and activation. * Provide ongoing operational support to podcasters, publishers, and internal teams. * Define, structure, and document complex operational tasks for the tech team. * Work closely with the technology team on platform improvements, issue resolution, and new operational requirements.
Requirements to the Candidates (Must Have): * Hands-on experience with SQL. * Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, formulas, and data analysis. * Strong analytical thinking and ability to work with large data sets. * High level of organization and attention to detail. * Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in parallel. * Good English communication skills. * Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving abilities. * * Ability to work in a fast-moving start-up environment.
Requirements to the Candidates (Nice to Have): * 2+ years of experience in Ad Ops, analytics, operations, or a similar role. * Availability to work during US business hours. * Experience or familiarity with programmatic advertising. * Experience analyzing complex data using AI tools. * Familiarity with the podcast, audio, or digital media industry. * Experience with Grafana, Python, or BI tools. * Experience working with technical teams and translating operational needs into clear product or development tasks.
