We are looking for a Mid-Level Product Designer for a recruitment and HR-tech product that connects employers with talent. The designer will take ownership of key product and marketing design initiatives.
You will join an established design environment with actively used Figma files and a mature multi-library design system, ensuring consistency across existing experiences while designing new screens, user flows, and features.
This is a hands-on role for someone who is highly proficient in modern Figma, equally confident working with data-heavy B2B interfaces and responsive marketing pages, and who enjoys evolving a living design system rather than starting from scratch.
Projects You Will Take Ownership Of * Recruiting CRM / ATS (web + mobile): An internal B2B platform built around Clients, Talents, Recruiting, Processes, and Users. It includes data-heavy workflows, well-documented navigation and states, modals, dark mode, and SSO-based authentication. * Talent-facing product: A candidate application that includes a foundational design token layer and mobile-first screens (job cards, profiles, authentication flows). * Marketing and product website: A large, responsive German-language website including homepage, product pages, employer branding pages, industry pages, pricing, blog, careers, and contact pages, as well as product-related flows.
Design Environment * Mature design system: Multiple published team libraries, as well as shared icon and country flag libraries. * Tokens and variables: Built using Figma Variables and Styles, supporting both light and dark themes, based on components and variants. * Design-to-code workflow: Code Connect is used, so strong attention to developer handoff and engineering alignment is essential. * Multi-platform and localization: Responsive web applications, marketing pages, and mobile screens; German language support for the DACH market.
Required Skills * 3+ years of experience in Product / UX/UI design, preferably in B2C SaaS or web applications * Advanced Figma skills: auto layout, components and variants, variables and modes, styles, prototyping, branching, and shared library maintenance * Strong experience working with design systems — extending component libraries and token systems rather than only using them * Experience with complex, responsive interfaces — data-heavy systems (tables, filters, multi-step flows, CRM/ATS), as well as marketing and landing pages for desktop and mobile * Strong collaboration and developer handoff skills — defining and documenting states and flows; preparing production-ready specs and working closely with engineers * Analytical mindset — understanding product quality and usability testing; experience with tools like Hotjar, GA4, GTM * Experience working in agile environments is a plus * Languages: professional English required, German is a plus
Key Responsibilities: * Maintain existing Figma files and ensure consistency across screens, flows, and components * Design and ship new product screens and user flows for the CRM/ATS and talent product * Maintain and extend shared component libraries, variables, and design tokens; document their usage and states * Design responsive marketing and product pages, from wireframes to fully branded UI * Create interactive prototypes and prepare clean, development-ready handoff (including correct Code Connect mappings) * Ensure accessibility, contrast, and high-quality dark mode implementation in close collaboration with product, marketing, and engineering teams
Nice to Have: * Experience designing mobile applications (iOS / native patterns) * Experience with Code Connect or tokens-to-code workflows * Knowledge of recruitment / HR-tech domain * Basic understanding of HTML/CSS * Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG)
