DevCom is looking for a Junior QA Engineer with at least 6 months of commercial testing experience (QA course projects are not considered) and an English level of B2 or higher.
You’ll become part of a large, experienced QA team, work directly with an international client, and receive mentorship to help you grow both technically and professionally. This is a long-term opportunity with a clear career development path, including the chance to transition into test automation as you gain experience.
Work mode: full-time employee. Opportunity for work in the Lviv office or remotely.
While we prefer candidates based in Lviv who can occasionally visit the office and collaborate with the team in person, we are also open to applications from candidates based in other regions of Ukraine.

Responsibilities: •Perform manual functional, integration, regression, and smoke testing of web applications •Design and maintain test documentation: test cases, checklists, bug reports •Verify data integrity by writing and executing database queries •Report, track, and verify defects through the full defect lifecycle •Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint ceremonies with the client team •Collaborate with developers, BAs, and fellow QA engineers to clarify requirements and reproduce issues
Required Skills •6+ months of commercial QA experience on a real commercial project •Completed QA courses or relevant technical education •English B2 and higher — daily stand-up with the client •Strong understanding of software testing theory •Strong understanding of the software development process •Experience with the design and development of test documentation (test cases, bug reports, checklists) •Familiarity with SDLC/STLC •Basic knowledge of HTML •Good knowledge of databases — able to write queries to verify data as part of testing •Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum •Ability to analyze and structure information •Excellent attention to detail •Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team •A logical, curious, and analytical mindset with a desire to interrogate data •Excellent presentation and communication skills
Nice to Have •Education in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) •Familiarity with API testing (Postman/Swagger) •Experience with Jira •Basic understanding of client-server application architecture •Basic understanding of LLMs (ChatGPT, etc.) and prompt engineering •Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRMs •Desire to grow in test automation
