Our client’s product is a cloud-based financial planning and analysis (FP&A) platform designed for SMBs, transforming manual monthly and quarterly reporting into automated, scalable processes. Solution connects to organizational systems such as ERP, CRM, HRIS, and complex Excel files, consolidating all data into a single cloud-based database. Product automates critical financial transformations including FX conversions, eliminations, hierarchies, financial adjustments, and more while allowing end-users to continue working in Excel as they always have. Serving primarily the US market, our client is experiencing strong and sustained growth. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a multidisciplinary R&D team and work on a cutting-edge SaaS product at scale.
Key Requirements:
Strong Python and system design fundamentals — enough to make sound technical calls and catch when the AI is wrong; Experience delivering software from idea to production; Excellent system design and architectural thinking; Ability to make technical decisions independently and take ownership of outcomes; Experience working with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, GitHub Copilot, or similar; Strong product mindset and the ability to balance technical and business priorities; Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-moving environments; Excellent communication and collaboration skills; Ability to review, challenge, and improve AI-generated output rather than relying on it blindly; Experience building AI-native development workflows; English — Upper-Intermediate or higher.
Will be plus:
Django experience; Experience with modern frontend technologies, QA automation, or full-stack environments; Experience working in product companies or startups.
What you will do:
Own features end-to-end, from initial requirements to production and monitoring; Partner with Product to turn requirements into clear execution plans — Product owns the what, you own the how; Orchestrate AI agents across development, QA, and automation; Review, validate, and improve AI-generated code and solutions; Make architectural decisions, define data models, and optimize system performance; Ensure high quality throughout the entire delivery lifecycle; Own a feature area while contributing across other areas when needed; Collaborate directly with engineering and product teams to continuously improve delivery processes.
