We are looking for a Software Engineer with strong backend expertise to strengthen our engineering team at a successful web project from the USA.
As a Software Engineer, you will contribute to building and enhancing the platform within a collaborative engineering team. While the current stack includes Angular and Node.js, the strategic goal is to expand backend capabilities and strengthen collaboration with engineering and ETL teams.
Depending on project priorities, you may initially focus on Angular/Node.js features, while gradually contributing more to backend services and integrations, where .NET/C# experience will be valuable. You should be comfortable working across the stack when needed.

Requirements
Must have * 5+ years of professional software development experience. * Strong experience in backend development. * Hands-on experience with Node.js and Angular. * .NET experience would be a plus, but it is not a strong requirement. * Experience designing and implementing backend services or APIs. * Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with complex systems. * Upper-Intermediate English (B2+) or higher. * Proactive mindset and ability to take ownership of technical solutions.
Will be a plus * Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms * Experience working with healthcare systems or regulated environments * Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB) * Mentorship or technical leadership experience
Responsibilities * Develop and maintain features using Angular and Node.js (Express). * Contribute to backend services and system architecture where applicable. * Strengthen the team’s backend expertise and engineering maturity. * Collaborate with engineering and ETL teams on integrations and data-related workflows. * Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical decision-making. * Identify opportunities to improve system scalability, reliability, and maintainability. * Share knowledge and support other engineers when needed.
