We are looking for a talented and ambitions UI/UX Technical Designer to join our team! Main responsibilities: * Close collaboration with UI/UX designers, UI artists, motion designers, and engineers to implement UI/UX design and functionality in Unreal Engine; * Implementing ready-made UI/UX mockups from Figma into Unreal Engine; * Developing functional UI/UX design prototypes in Unreal Engine; * Implementing animations and visual UI effects in Unreal Engine; * Creating and configuring UI materials of various complexity (motion graphics, animations, and effects); * Working with Blueprints: implementing UI/UX logic and functionality, creating and configuring UI systems; * Ensuring UI support for various input devices (keyboard/mouse, gamepad, touchpad); * Ensuring UI support across different platforms and resolutions: PC, Consoles, VR, Mobile; * Troubleshooting technical issues and optimizing the game’s UI within the engine; * Advising the team on the best approaches and practices for UI creation in Unreal Engine; * Maintaining technical UI/UX documentation.
Required skills: * 3+ years of experience in game development; * 2+ years of experience with Unreal Engine 4/5; * 1+ year of experience in technical UI implementation in Unreal Engine; * Solid proficiency in Blueprint Visual Scripting; * Solid experience working with UMG in Unreal Engine; * Understanding of Best Practices for UI creation in Unreal Engine; * Understanding of Event-Driven and Data-Driven approaches in Unreal Engine; * Experience in creating and configuring materials (shaders) for UI implementation in Unreal Engine; * Basic knowledge of C++ in Unreal Engine; * Ability to debug Blueprints/C++; * Ability to perform UI profiling; * Experience in solving UI optimization tasks; * Experience implementing UI for console platforms; * Experience working with Common UI in Unreal Engine; * English communication skills sufficient for oral and written communication; * Ability to work with version control systems (Git / Perforce); * Passion for creating games.
Will be an advantage: * A portfolio with examples of implemented UI/UX, including animations and effects using materials (shaders) for UI creation in Unreal Engine; * Advanced skills in working with materials (shaders) in Unreal Engine; * Experience with UI Material Lab; * Experience with Lyra in terms of UI implementation; * Experience working on AAA projects; * Experience implementing UI into the engine from Figma mockups; * Experience working with Common UI and Enhanced Input in Unreal Engine; * Experience working with View Model (MVVM) in Unreal Engine; * Experience with text localization in Unreal Engine; * Experience working with custom engines; * Knowledge of C++ in Unreal Engine; * Advanced English communication skills.
