We are looking for an Senior Unreal Engine Developer to join one of our projects (IGaming).
Key Responsibilities: * Developing the logic of gamified shows and interactive applications using Unreal Engine 5. * Integrating UE5 with external services and control servers via network protocols. * Configuring and supporting Real-Time Compositing (Compositing / Virtual Production) systems for combining video streams from the studio with virtual environments. * Configuring animations, special effects, dynamic materials, and camera logic.
Must-Have Requirements: * Experience with Unreal Engine 5: Confident use of the editor and an understanding of the Gameplay Framework architecture. * C++ & Blueprints: Excellent knowledge of C++ and Blueprints, with the ability to effectively combine them (porting heavy logic to C++, flexible customization in Blueprints). * Networking / API: Experience with the REST API (including plugins like VaRest) and WebSockets for processing commands from an external server in real time. * Virtual Production / Broadcast (Real-time Compositing): * Experience with SDI capture and output plugins (Blackmagic Design / AJA). * Understanding of real-time compositing concepts (working with Composure, chroma key, media bundles). * Graphics and Animation (Basic / Intermediate): * Understanding of Niagara (particle system) for VFX creation. * Working with skeletal animations (Animation Blueprints, Control Rig, tracking/animation switching). * Creating dynamic materials (Material Instances, Parameter Groups) and managing them from code/blueprints. * Managing objects and cinematic cameras (Cine Camera Actor, Sequencer / Level Sequences at runtime). * Version Control Systems: Experience with Git and Perforce (P4). * English level from B2
Nice-to-have: * Understanding of profiling and performance optimization (Unreal Insights, FPS/GPU profiling) to ensure stable frame rates on air.
